Learn to sit fly from the ground up. Over four weeks, you'll build a stable, controlled neutral sit and start exploring basic movement—with weekly video feedback and live group sessions to keep you progressing.
Sit flying opens up a whole new axis of freefall, but getting stable in that first neutral position can feel elusive. This lab is designed to get you there.
Over four weeks, you'll work toward a relaxed, controlled static sit—the foundation everything else builds on. Once you're holding neutral with consistency, we'll introduce basic points of motion: forward, backward, left and right turns, and vertical movement. How far we get depends on the group, but the priority is always quality over speed. A solid sit you can trust beats a sloppy one you're fighting to hold.
Each week, you'll upload footage from the sky or tunnel. I'll review it with timestamped feedback—text, audio, and video comments—so you know exactly what's working and what to adjust. Then we meet live as a group to talk through the week's focus, answer questions, and learn from each other's footage.
By the end, you'll have a stable sit you can rely on and a clear sense of where to go next.
It depends on the lab. Some labs have requirements for participants; i.e. number of jumps, experience with big groups, ability to flat-track, etc. If the lab you are interested in has requirements, it will be listed under the lab overview.
Of course! Fly at your local DZ, upload your videos, and train with us from anywhere in the world.
Each lab focuses on a different discipline or core skill area — like head-up, angle exits, or canopy control. Check the details for each lab to see what skills are covered.
If you miss a group session we won't be able to make it up, but the session video will be made available to you so you can go back and catch up on what you missed.
It depends on the lab. Under the lab details you'll see the cost per week and the total cost for the lab. Most labs are around $50 per week and last for about six weeks for a total of $300. The lab details will tell you how many group sessions and if it includes a 1-on-1 session or not.
Most of the labs are capped at 10 jumpers to keep coaching sharp and personalized. Check the lab details for specifics.
